Like all state QSO parties, the objective of those participating stations outside of Tennessee to work work as many Tennessee stations in as many Tennessee counties as possible. Meanwhile the stations located within Tennessee are free to work everyone.
BANDS
All amateur bands except 60, 30, 17 and 12 meters are valid.
MODES
Phone (no repeater QSOs)
CW
Digital (RTTY, PSK31, FSK441, JT6M, etc). If you need Tennessee counties for your County Hunter log then this is the place and time to get them.
Tilt-N-Raise and Tennessee QSO Party
The use of the Tilt-N-Raise antenna mount in the Tennessee QSO Party event is a great idea. You can use the Tilt-N-Raise to get your antenna up in short order and then you can concentrate on getting the rest of your gear operational. Think of the extra Tennessee counties you and your group (if you are in one) can have in the logs. The antenna is a major part of an amateur radio station operating in Tennessee QSO Party and the last thing you need to worry about is whether the antenna will stay upright during the Tennessee QSO Party. If you have yet to buy a Tilt-N-Raise then just use our link to order a Tilt-N-Raise for yourself, then you can rest easy while working the Tennessee QSO Party or any other radio event.
